AMY RIZZO
'The Arts as a Catalyst for Positive Transformation'

Amy's Dissertation aims to investigate the ways in which people might use art and music to reflect on their experiences and develop new forms of creative expression. She was able to change her sexual uncertainties into something creative and expressive via practice-based research and journaling. Additionally, she explored the subconscious mind and how to perceive it effectively. She wrote eight songs and four poems as a consequence of her own need to create, and the outcome was a single album consisting of three songs that deeply address the self. Finally, she narrowed her concentration to a single song and directed the accompanying music video.
